How to add a link to your TikTok bio
Updated November 1, 2026 · By the Mochii team
Add the link
- Open TikTok and go to your Profile.
- Tap Edit profile.
- Under Links, tap Add and paste your address.
- Save. The link appears under your bio.
Who can add a link?
- Personal accounts: commonly reported to need around 1,000 followers before the website field appears.
- Business accounts: need to be a verified business account, which TikTok grants for free after you submit business details.
TikTok does not publish one clear rule and tests changes by region, so your app may differ. Summary based on Shopify, July 2026.
Link option not showing? Try this
- Update the TikTok app.
- Check your follower count against the threshold above.
- If you run a business, apply for business verification in your account settings.
- Until then, put your link in bio page address in your Instagram profile and mention "link on my Instagram" in your TikTok bio.
Use the one link well
You only get one link on TikTok, so point it to a link in bio page with everything on it. TikTok opens links in its own browser, which hides where visitors come from. Mochii counts clicks per link and shows which app visitors came from, so you see what TikTok actually sends you.
